Voice Lessons

Voice lessons are offered at 30, 45 and 60 minute time blocks. Students are taught using healthy technique, with all styles of singing covered (classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop). Emphasis is placed on proper breathing, support, placement, and posture.
Voice students are also encouraged to participate in the Certificate of Merit program, with online evaluations in Spring every year. Repertoire for Certificate of Merit includes additional song books, theory and technique books.
Voice students are given the opportunity to participate in two recitals per year, in addition to practicums, and workshops monthly. Students are also encouraged to participate in competitions including VO-CAL, SEP, Spotlight and additional evaluations that further their growth as singers.

Piano Lessons

Piano lessons are offered at 30, 45 and 60 minute time blocks. Students are taught using the Faber method, in addition to supplemental repertoire. Theory and technique are crucial parts of all lessons.
Piano students are also encouraged to participate in the Certificate of Merit program, with evaluations in Spring every year. Repertoire for Certificate of Merit includes additional song books, theory and technique books.
Piano students are given the opportunity to participate in two recitals per year, in addition to practicums, and monthly workshops. Students are also encouraged to participate in Competitions through MTAC including the Bach Festival, Sonata/Sonatina Festival and Theme Festivals.
